Bob & Lee Woodruff are hosting Hamptons Stands for Heroes celebrating the work of The Bob Woodruff Foundation on Friday, August 28 at the home of George & Joan Hornig with media partner Beach Magazine in Water Mill, NY.
The night will begin with cocktails by Manhattan Moonshine, which is debuting the world’s first premium un-aged whiskey, and canapés overlooking the grounds of the estate.
The cocktail reception will feature a special performance by US Marine Combat Veteran JW Cortes. Following the cocktail reception, guests will head over to the Hornig’s barn for a special VIP dinner, which will feature a special performance by Rachel Brown.
Ticket prices start at $125 for entry to the cocktail reception to $1,000 for entry to both the reception and the VIP dinner.
All of the proceeds of the night will go to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, founded by ABC News Correspondent Bob Woodruff after he was hit by a roadside bomb while covering the war in Iraq in January 2006. The then Co-Anchor of World News Tonight was given access to all of the proper treatment enabling him to fully recover within 13 months from the traumatic brain injury he received. Their experiences inspired them to help make sure our nation’s heroes have access to the resources they deserve, for as long as they need them.
