It was a power party for Geraldo Rivera at the new Four Cuts Steakhouse run by owner Mirso Lekic on the Upper East Side last week.
The legendary Fox News Host covers 25A Magazine, and along with publisher Chase Backer and Editor-In-Chief Christopher Pape, all Rivera’s nearest and dearest were there including wife Eric and their daughter Sol.
Rivera smiled ear to ear while the crowd vying for pics with the legendary journalist noshed on delicious mini-steak sandwiches and burgers, shrimp cocktail and pizza slivers courtesy of former Bobby Van’s Executive Chef Christopher Miller, known in the city as “the steak whisperer.”
Covering its September issue, the 72-year old speaks about his life in front and off camera.
Rivera, who has been in the journalism business for over 40 years, recounts some of his favorite stories he has worked on, including the abuses at Staten Island’s Willowbrook State School, which earned him a Peabody Award and thrusted him into the public spotlight.
Geraldo, who is currently a senior correspondent at Fox News, also hosts his own radio show in New York on WABC from 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM each weekday. He told the magazine that he enjoys the intellectual stimulation of performing the radio show because “Radio allows me to expand on ideas in-depth rather than the usual five minutes allotted by TV.”
Now open, Four Cuts Steakhouse with seasoned General Manager Rodolphe Siffredi, is named after the four traditional cuts of steak – the ribeye, the strip, the tenderloin and the t-bone – and will offer diners traditional steakhouse cuisine in an intimate setting. It also has a great bar.
Guests included: Mickey Sherman, Mark Simone, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Nicole DiCocco, Rob Schmitt, Jill and Bobby Zarin, Nancy Pearson, Ann Rapp, Flo Anthony, Joy Marks, Dion Moore, Sonja Morgan, John Mahdessian, and Ramona Singer‘s ex-husband Mario Singer with his young girlfriend.
