Margaret Isa Butler, a private equity and real estate lawyer at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, hosted the first part of her salon series toasting Proud Nation Inc.’s EduSkating, a program that promotes individual well-being through the fusion of sports and education.
Throughout the intimate evening, the most influential women in New York, including Olympian and U.S. figure skating silver medalist, Melissa Gregory and the Executive Director of Proud Nation, Sarah Lenehan Coyne, Director at BBR Partners, Mia DellOsso-Caputo, Creative Director and GVP of Merchandising at Men’s Kenneth Cole Productions and Dani Rylan, Founder & General Manager of the New York Riveters hockey team and the Owner of Rise & Grind, enjoyed tasty hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while admiring the gorgeous view from midtown’s Upper Story space.
Gregory, who is Executive Director of Proud Nation, stated that for the first time her programs will be available in New York City.
“I’m very excited about our new opening that we will be doing in New York City, which will bring a boutique style of ice skating to The Rink at Brookfield Place,” Melissa stated. “We aim to provide challenging, fun programs on and off the ice that build lifestyle, self-esteem and lifelong skills.” At The Rink, Melissa will be offering ice skating programs for men, women and children, starting November 13th.
