Looking totally fabulous, actress Rose McGowan quietly strolled into The National Arts Club to check out artist and theater director Robert Wilson’s, exhibit, Black & White.
Dressed perfectly downtown chic, the friendly actress who made her directorial debut this summer, blended in with the artsy crowd peaking at Wilson’s monochromatic works spanning his career from 1989 to 2013.
After realizing her passion lies in filmmaking, McGowan directed Dawn, about a quiet young teenager who longs for something or someone to free her from her sheltered life . TRAILER HERE
Along with McGowan pictured with producer Angela Bernhard Thomas, other guests included filmmaker Anton Perich, Cuban artist Carlos Quintana, private equity lawyer Margaret Butler and event designer Anthony Taccetta.
No stranger to the art world, McGowan’s father was in the art field and her husband Davey Detail is a visual artist.
