Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley wife of country great Brad, got personal at The 32nd annual Alzheimer’s Association Rita Hayworth Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street.
As part of the program, she poignantly spoke, sharing about her mother’s struggle with dementia.
The theme of this year’s Gala, ‘our future is crystal clear’, highlighted the gala steering committee’s commitment to the vision of a world without Alzheimer’s disease.
Also there Brooke Shields, an avid supporter who years ago lost her mom, who had long suffered from dementia.
Since the inaugural Rita Hayworth Gala over three decades ago, the New York, Chicago and Palm Beach events have now raised more than $68 million to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
The mission of the Association is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through promotion of brain health.
