Famed photographer Baron Wolman‘s sensually scandalous and glamorous work is on display at The Morrison Hotel Gallery until December 21.
The iconic Rolling Stone photographer’s exhibit includes images from his new book, Groupies and Other Electric Ladies (November 2015, ACC Editions), as well as some of his iconic music images of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and others.
He was on-stage with Jimi Hendrix, backstage with the Rolling Stones, in front of the stage with Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin. In 1969, Baron made history with his series of stunning and graceful portraiture of groupies for the magazine’s “Special Super-Duper Neat Issue.”
