Written and directed by Nick Sandow of Orange is the New Black, The Wannabe is the story of a fellow obsessed with mob culture and in a quest to fit in, sets out to fix the 1992 trial of John Gotti.

The movie’s stars Vincent Piazza, Michael Imperioli and Adriana DeMeo were all at the premiere as well as Jon Bon Jovi, Steve Schirripa, and OITNB cast-members Kate Mulgrew and Natasha Lyonne.

Oscar winner Patricia Arquette who also stars did not attend.
