Pharmaceutical billionaire Stuart Rahr with Ariel Hach attended the Prostate Cancer Foundation‘s annual gala at The Pierre Hotel recently.
This year’s amazing event honored the 20th Season Partnership with Major League Baseball and its Team Owners for the PCF Home Run Challenge with Baseball Hall of Fame Managers Joe Torre, Tommy Lasorda and Tony LaRussa.
With big bids including a few from Rahr, the event raised more than $6 million towards ground breaking cancer research.
Founded by Michael Milken in 1993, the PCF has raised more than $615 million and provided funding to more than 2000 research programs at nearly 200 cancer centers and universities.
Rahr also supports youth, education and medical research with his own, The Stewart J. Rahr Foundation.
