R&B superstar Dionne Warwick lead the way this past Saturday during the UN Women for Peace Association’s annual rally and march to end violence against women.
Fox News TV anchor, Lisa Daftari emceed the rally and helped lead the march which started at UN Headquarters at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza, 47th Street between First and Second Avenues, and went to 42nd Street.
Continuing to sing throughout the free event which had thousands marching, Warwick wowed the crowd as she sang with 40 members of Brooklyn’s own Christian Cultural Center choir What the World Needs Now Is Love.
