Hollywood’s A-list came out in support of Goldie Hawn and her Hawn Foundation which aims to help children round the world.
Started back in 2003 with its MindUP program, it’s developed in collaboration with neuroscientists, psychologists and educators, and provides vital social and emotional learning programs to reduce stress and aggressive behavior, improve focus and academic performance and increase resiliency for success in school and in life.
At his year’s gala: Goldie’s Love in For Kids, celebs like Demi Moore, Melanie Griffith, Camila Alves and Sylvestor Stallone were treated to a live singing performance from Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson.
Hudson, who’s also on the Board of Director’s, wowed the crowd with a soulful rendition of Nothing Compares 2 U by the late great Prince. No stranger to the music scene, Hudson’s men have included Chris Robinson, Matt Bellamy and most recently young Nick Jonas.
Besides Hudson, Kurt Russell was of course there, son’s Oliver and Wyatt, and her grandchildren.
Also dressed up and looking fab: Taylor Lautner, Amanda de Cadenet, Jennifer Flavin, David Foster with daughter Sara Foster, Paula Abdul, Russell Simmons, Chelsea Handler, Peter Fonda, Mary McCormack, and Nicole Richie.
