George Clooney’s super-successful human rights attorney wife Amal made her debut on the 69th Annual Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the Money Monster Premiere.
Amal was the embodiment of old Hollywood glamour in a pastel yellow asymmetrical Versace gown, Cartier jewelry and a classic red carpet beauty look by close friend and iconic makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. Charlotte worked her legendary makeup magic giving Amal a soft smoky eye, perfect red pout and a flawless complexion.
Charlotte shares the steps to create Amal’s red carpet look:
First, Charlotte moisturized the skin with her signature Magic Creamto prep and hydrate, then primed with her secret weapon Wonderglow.
Charlotte continued by warming up Amal’s complexion using her Bronzer Brush with the sculpt shade in Filmstar Bronze and Glow and dusting it across her temples and over the cheekbones. Next, Charlotte applied Cheek to Chic Blusher in Ecstasy on top of Amal’s cheekbones for a romantic flush.
Charlotte continued with facial framework by softly perfecting Amal’s already perfect eyebrows with Brow Lift in Cara D.
To create Amal’s mesmerizing eyes, Charlotte applied the pop shade from The Luxury Palette in The Vintage Vamp onto the lids for a soft shimmer. Next, Charlotte took her Rock n Kohl Eyeliner in Barbarella Brown and followed the upper lash line along and out into a soft flick for subtle definition. Using her Smudger Brush Charlotte used the enhance shade from The Luxury Palette in The Golden Goddess to softly define the waterline of the eyes.
To achieve red-carpet glamour, Charlotte curled Amal’s lashes using Life Changing Lashes and applied two coats of her new Legendary Lashes mascara for an instant false lash effect.
To complete the look, Charlotte applied the ultimate Hollywood red lipstick K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Love Bite to give instant glamour.
