Oscar nominated Sofia Coppola made her operatic directorial debut with La Traviata, at the Opera of Rome.
The opera which debuted Sunday, is a collaboration between fashion king Valentino with backdrop designs created by Nathan Crowley, set designer for the Batman Films.
Others checking out the famous three-act opera by Giuseppe Verdi included Keira Knightly, Luke Evans, and Monica Bellucci.
