Legendary music star Carlos Santana was honored over the weekend at the Ventian Hotel in Las Vegas with the prestigious Ruby Oliva Cedillo Tribute Award at the Padres Contra El Cancer’s 16th Annual El Sueno De Esperanza Celebration .
The non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families, awards individual who best exemplifies PADRES’ guiding values and core ideals – honesty, character, integrity, respect, commitment to community and service to humanity.
Actor and comedian George Lopez served as the evening’s master of ceremonies, Eva Longoria hosted, and a special performance was given by singer-songwriter, Prince Royce.
