The Los Angeles Dodgers observed Autism Awareness Night this week and actress/advocate Holly Robinson Peete sang the National Anthem as well as selfi-documenting her performance.
Courageous and determined, Peete’s oldest son was diagnosed with autism years ago, and she continues to expand the scope of her foundation she co-founded with her husband, former USC and NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, to include support and resources for families affected by an autism diagnosis.
A public service announcement from Autism Speaks was shown during he pregame and the Dodgers offered discounted group tickets for the game, with a portion of the proceeds going to Autism Speaks.
Also watching the Dodgers defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 9-3, was Kevin Costner with wife Christine and their kids.
