SIR IVAN hosted a sinful 60th birthday party for over 600 friends and fans at his infamous Bridgehampton castle with a “Garden of Eden” themed extravaganza with guests clad in “fig leaves or less.”
After passing through the enormous castle gates, party guests had to
follow a path of life-like snakes to a 50-foot Tree of Knowledge adorned with giant candy-red apples the size of pumpkins. They then arrived at the giant snake pit dance floor filled with 600 realistic looking snakes surrounding them.
At 10pm, the former banker, performing artist and philanthropist emerged onto the Castle great hall balcony 100 feet in the air, playing the part of and dressed as the Almighty Party-God, King of the Universe, while guests sang Happy Birthday.
His 15,000 square foot medieval-style Castle looked like a 15,000 square foot birthday cake due to the 60 six-foot LED candles lining the castle’s balcony and went across the castle roof from one end to the other.
After blowing out the symbolic 61st candle for good luck, the 60 LED candles became 60 flashing multi-color strobe lights, overwhelming the crowd with a spectacular light and sound show for SIR IVAN’s performance of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine,’ his new electronic dance music version which is Top 10 in the world on three significant music charts.
Just when the crowd had thought they had seen it all, the evening reached a climax when SIR IVAN made his grand entrance, sitting on a giant throne, on top of a giant white cloud, carried by six muscular hunks through the snake pit/dance floor, as he greeted his guests and humored the crowd.
Helping others is the heart and soul of SIR IVAN’s music career. During the event, SIR IVAN and the Peaceman Foundation donated a $10,000 check to the New York City Anti-Violence Project and a $10,000 check to the Hetrick-Martin Institute.
Receiving the checks were “Orange Is The New Black” stars Barbara Rosenblat, Tamara Torres, Lynne Tomiko and Farrah Krenek, who thanked Sir Ivan for all the work he has done for the LGBT community.
SIR IVAN and his Peaceman Foundation have donated over a quarter of a million dollars to numerous non-profit organizations that combat bullying.
