The Last Chance for Animals Annual NYC Fundraiser brought out actress, animal activist and poker pro Shannon Elizabeth, and Live Nation Chairman Ron Delsener to Rosina’s restaurant on the Upper East Side.
LCA founder Chris DeRose spoke, as well as Elizabeth, who also competed on the sixth season of Dancing with the Stars and partnered with Derek Hough, whom she went on to date for some time.
Leesa Rowland and Dara Sowell co-chaired the event, and guests were shown a PSA given by Edie Falco regarding LCA’s undercover investigation into the inhumane treatment of New York Horse & Carriage trade.
During the amazing vegan dinner donated by Rosina, DeRose spoke about many of the organization’s campaigns including Chinese dog slaughterhouses.
