Wise guys together again. This time on Broadway.
Based on a book by Chazz Palminteri, and directed by Robert De Niro, A Bronx Tale, a crime drama set in the Bronx during the turbulent 60’s, reunites the two actors once again.
The two attended opening night this week at the Longacre Theater along with guests including Jimmy Fallon, Naomi Campbell, and De Niro friend Harvey Keitel.
De Niro, who made his directorial debut in the original back in 1993, co-directs this time with four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks, bringing the musical to Broadway.
The story adapted for the big screen and partially based on the childhood of Palminteri, grossed over $17 million at the North American domestic box office.
