That’s Johanna Braddy, star of ABC’s hit series Quantico, talking about her co-stars in the March issue of Good Housekeeping, on newsstands February 14.
Taking a break from fighting the bad guys in FBI gear, the newlywed hit Queens, NY to show off florals and bright colors for spring, and opened up on her made-for-TV love with former UnREAL co-star Freddie Stroma. She also talked about her friendships with Quantico co-stars Yasmine Al Massri and Priyanka Chopra, her not-so-guilty pleasures, advice for brides-to-be, and more.
HERES SOME:
On her made-for-TV love with UnREAL co-star, and now husband, Freddie Stroma: “Freddie and I met on the set of UnREAL. We worked together, we became best friends and when the shoot ended, we didn’t want to say goodbye. So we didn’t! We’ve hung out every day since.”
On her close friendships with her Quantico costars, Yasmine Al Massri and Priyanka Chopra: “Yasmine, Priyanka, and I all call ourselves the Powerpuff Girls. We hang out on and off set all the time – eating sushi and having sleepovers sometimes – just being girls!”
On the special training she went through for Quantico: “My character [FBI agent Shelby Wyatt] is a marksman specialist so I had firearms training. We didn‘t shoot real bullets, so I’m not sure if I’m any good. It’s more about how to hold it and look like you’re really good.”
On her (not so) guilty pleasure: “My guilty pleasure would be pizza, but I really don’t feel that guilty about it. I have it on a regular basis.”
On tips for brides-to-be (from the newly wed herself!): “Just relax and don’t sweat the small stuff because at the end of the day, it’s not about the perfect flowers or the perfect napkin, it’s about marrying the right person so just chill.”
