Fashion designer Maggie Norris, who has dressed Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston, and whose clients include Diane Keaton and Naomi Watts and Rene Ruiz, gave a show at a prestigious private yacht club in Manhattan to benefit Sailing Heals. The Massachusetts based nonprofit offers healing sails for those individuals and families facing a serious health setback like cancer.
The evening dubbed “Cocktails & Couture”, featured nautical-inspired daywear walked on the runway by professional models, courtesy of TRUE Model Management, and others who have benefited from Sailing Heals.
Said Norris; “I drew my inspiration from fashions worn by some of Hollywood’s most glamorous stars such as Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Grace Kelly, Cary Grant and Gary Cooper.”
