Remarkable design met Mother Nature at LongHouse Reserve’s Landscape Awards Luncheon, a celebration of outstanding landscape design and creativity, held at the 16-acre Reserve in East Hampton.
The luncheon held in partnership with Garden Design magazine, which was honored for the Publication Award, honored the work of Ms. Deborah Nevins with the Landscape Award, presented by Warrie Price, President and Founder of The Battery Conservancy.
Nevins, a highly regarded landscape designer and founder of the Manhattan-based eponymous firm which has been responsible for projects all over the world, most notably the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center in Athens, Greece and a number of significant green-roof plantings, was celebrated for her spectacular civic gardens.
