Author Laurie Gelman celebrated the launch of her debut book, Class Mom: A Novel, with an appearance at East Hampton Library’s 13th Annual Authors Night Benefit, as well as a soiree with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the home of Deana and Steve Hanson in East Hampton, NY.
One of the most anticipated events of the summer, Gelman was one of the seven exciting writers spotlighted this year with her novel Class Mom: A wickedly funny take on parenting. Other attendees included: Ann Coulter, Alec Baldwin, Dick Cavett, Alex Guarnaschelli, and Elizabeth Vargas.
The following week, the author brought along her TV Producer husband and two daughters to Deanna and Steve Hanson’s Hamptons home to celebrate with guests like NY Post Gossip Columnist Richard Johnson; Caryn Zucker; Gerald Lefcourt and Dr. Barry Weintraub.
