Jake Gyllenhaal took part in a press conference during the Toronto Film Festival promoting new movie Stronger, the inspiring real story of Jeff Bauman, an ordinary man who captured the hearts of his city and the world to become a symbol of hope following the infamous 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
No doubt after this experience, Gyllenhaal feels the strength of this young man.
The super-talented Oscar nominated actor sat alongside Bauman, director David Gordon Green, and co-star Tatiana Maslany, to discuss the movie which focuses on Bauman, who after losing both his legs when two bombs exploded during the marathon, regained consciousness and was able to help law enforcement identify one of the suspects.
The film in theaters September 22, continues to show the relationship with his supportive girlfriend and his heroic journey to rehabilitation.
