Christian Bale plays an embittered U.S. Cavalry officer who reluctantly agrees to accompany a Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their tribal lands in Montana in new highly anticipated movie Hostiles.
In theaters December 22, Bale’s wife Sibi Blazic accompanied her man to the premiere in Beverly Hills for the film which co-stars Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, Jesse Plemons, Adam Beach, Rory Cochrane, and Ben Foster.
Known for his fluctuating weight to play various characters, Bale put on a lot of weight in his current role playing ‘Cheney’ which he’s filming now. Based on Dick Cheney, the Oscar winner plays the former VP who served for Bush between 2001 and 2009 and was a key player in US foreign policy during that time, particularly with regards to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
His American Hustle co-star Amy Adams plays wife Lynne Cheney, while while Sam Rockwell and Bill Pullman play George W. Bush and Nelson Rockefeller, respectively.
