LongHouse Reserve will celebrate Axel Vervoordt at their New York Benefit on Wednesday, March 28 at the Hearst Tower (300 West 57th Street). Cocktails will begin at 6pm.
Mr. Vervoordt will accept the honor and present his unique view of the world with a presentation, “Living with Art”, in the plush 165 seat theater of The Hearst Building. During cocktails, there will be an opportunity to enjoy the soaring three story atrium of the Hearst Tower.
After Mr. Vervoordt is presented with the LongHouse Award, the presentation, “Axel Vervoordt’s Living With Art” will take place at 7pm. Dinner will follow at the nearby Gainsborough Studios at 8:30pm.
Honorary Chairs include Jack Lenor Larsen, Adelaide De Menil, Sherri Donghia, Alexandra Munroe, Newell Turner, May Vervoordt.

Reception, performance and table for 10 at a private dinner in an art-filled home overlooking Central Park. Each guest receives a signed copy of Axel Vervoordt: Stories and Reflections.
A guided visit of Kanal, the gallery spaces and permanent installations for up to six people will be followed by a lunch at the castle of ‘s-Gravenwezel, the home of Axel and May Vervoordt, at a mutually agreeable time, airfare not included. Depending on the time of the visit, you will be invited to a pottery class with Kosi Hidama and/or a concert of Inspiratium.
