MX Cinemas along with its CEO, Jose Leonardo Martí, hosted an invitation-only red-carpet event to herald the opening of their first New York City outpost, CMX CinéBistro New York 62nd.
The event paid homage to three celebrated films from the most coveted eras of the 30s/40s, 70s, and modern day, and was hosted by New York film icons that included film director, producer and writer, Spike Lee; renowned actress and model Brooke Shields; and actress and granddaughter of iconic silent film legend Charlie Chaplin, Kiera Chaplin.
More than 300 guests attended including Katie Couric and John Molner, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Grace Hightower De Niro, Paul Sorvino, Jay McInerney and Anne Hearst, Lizzie Tisch, and Jazmin Grimaldi, Ian Mellencamp, Rosanna Scotto, Drew Nieporent, Alex Lundqvist, Nancy Jarecki, Tove Nord, Monique Pean, Charl Brown, Lise Evans, Leon Robinson, Jessica Barta Lam, Marinet Matthee, Kea Ho, Jamie Cepero, Antoine Verglas, Timo Weiland and Easter Sunday.
