The reality star beauty graces the June cover of the luxury lifestyle magazine, which is celebrating 16 years in print, and shows exclusive images for the photo shoot at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Kyle dishes on everything from her busy TV producing career, how she juggles four children, a husband and dog, the scrutiny of being a reality TV star and that now infamous feud with Lisa Vanderpump.
In the June cover story, Kyle talks with Senior Editor of Social Life, Christine Montanti about her upbringing in Hollywood, looking after her beautiful family, her steadfast work ethic and her fellow RHOBH stars.
On former best friend, Lisa Vanderpump:
“If Lisa does something wrong, it is very hard for her to own her behavior because she is a perfectionist and wants to be perceived as being perfect all the time.”
On accepting her journey through Real Housewives of Beverly Hills:
“I am actually shy. I am actually an introvert who is living an extrovert life. Now I am so used to filming the show that I don’t even think about it. I am a very open person. You can tell me your darkest secret and I would never tell a soul, but if it’s about me, I can’t keep a secret about myself.”
The influence of her mother on her successful career:
“My mother wanted to teach me about balancing and budgeting and being independent. My mom pushed me into acting to overcome my shyness. So honestly when I did anything, for example when I would pull into Warner Brothers to film American Woman the guard would wave to me, and as I would drive through, I would think, “Thanks Mom.” Because I know that everything that she did has led me to where I am now — Housewives, producing American Woman and these other projects are all because of my mom!”
