Over 200 guests attended the event to support African wildlife conservation and community development including photographer, artist and filmmaker Roberto Dutesco; lead guitarist for rock band The Eagles Don Felder, current New York Jets center Jonotthan Harrison, fashion icon and designer Donna Karan, legendary modern dance choreographer Jennifer Muller, Anchor and correspondent for CBS’ Inside Edition and Inside Edition Weekend Diane McInerney, Victoria’s Secret model Sofie Rovenstine, and former NFL player for the New York Giants and 2-time Superbowl champion Justin Tuck.
The event which had catering donated by new French restaurant, Coco J’Adore, had guests treated to a performance by modern dance company, Jennifer Muller/The Works, an exhibition of famed photographer Robert Dutesco’s 25th anniversary exhibit of his seminal series of photographs, The Wild Horses of Sable Island and an introduction to his latest project, IAMWILD.ORG.
The special event raised funds to support ACCF’s mission of fueling sustainable and transformative human impact and wildlife conservation in Africa.
Proceeds from the event will help support the mission of the African Community and Conservation Foundation (ACCF) to contribute to the preservation of important African wilderness areas, empower the communities living alongside these spaces and contribute to a world in which people and wildlife live together, sustainably, forever.
