Last week was the launch of the first-ever post-pageant podcast, More Than A Crown, hosted by Miss USA 2018, Sarah Rose Summers.
More Than A Crown is a podcast every woman can relate to. Sarah Rose is more than her crown and every listener is more than their biggest goals, accomplishments, or insecurities. This podcast can be found on platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and Listen Notes.
In collaboration with Energi TV, Sarah Rose’s first episode was a motivational segment including everything from best moments as Miss USA and self-care routines to how she finds her confidence and women’s self-defense.
Sara Rose also interviewed a good friend and Miss USA 2014, Nia Sanchez, a 4th Degree Black Belt, who has started teaching self-defense classes that are tailored for women focusing on physical, verbal, and awareness skills designed to build confidence and empowerment for ladies of all ages and athletic abilities.
Nia shared amazing and informative takeaways that can help women build self-awareness and feel safe when traveling alone.
