Yankees legend, Bernie Williams, joined acclaimed artist Charles Fazzino at Charles Saffati’s gallery Carlton Fine Arts Ltd. for a reception to celebrate the unveiling of his latest work 9/11: A Time of Remembrance, a new limited-edition artwork to memorialize the 20th Anniversary of 9-11.
The celebration, which was emceed by FOX 5’s Tina Cervasio, commenced with a performance of the National Anthem and the official 9/11 Color Guard. The performance was followed up by the public unveiling of Fazzino’s 9/11: A Time of Remembrance, where Bernie Williams and Fazzino revealed the beautiful new work as guests enjoyed lite bites from Kensington and sipped champagne and wine.
Those in attendance that evening included Salvatore Cassano, Former Commissioner, FDNY; Salvatore Carcaterra, Former, Deputy Chief, NYPD; San Panchal, Former 1st Grade Detective & 9/11 Hero, NYPD, Dr. Marie Hayag, William Jarosak and GDGC Enterprises Diamonte Zarba.
Charles Fazzino’s painting entitled “9/11: A Time of Remembrance” was commissioned by The National September 11 Memorial & Museum and is an homage to all those affected by the 9-11 attacks including victims, survivors, and heroes. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of “9/11: A Time of Remembrance” and limited-edition prints will benefit the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
Fazzino’s new limited-edition artwork to memorialize the 20th Anniversary of 9-11, is set to be showcased alongside a curated set of the artist’s signature pieces at the gallery. The special Charles Fazzino exhibition will be on display through September 23rd at the gallery’s 543 Madison Avenue location.
