Now in their 4th edition, The Westhampton Beach Project the annual free to the public event is a combination of contemporary dance, music, and new this year delicious eats and drinks from local Long Island restaurants. The two-day event will be hosted on the Great Lawn on Main Street in Westhampton Beach, NY on July 29th & 30th beginning at 8:00 PM.
The project will kick off on July 29th, where guests can view performances by The Parsons Dance Company, a contemporary American dance company internationally renowned for its energized athletic ensemble work. July 30th will feature performances by Tony award winning performer and vocalist Melba Moore and singer-songwriter Eva Sita. Throughout the two days guests will be able to sample bites and wines from Insatiable Eats, Justin Chop Shop, William Grant and Sons, Westhampton Fine Wine, Zuccia Wines and much more.
The Westhampton Beach Project was conceptualized by artist and President of the Musical Mime Theater, Steven Colucci, who has been working in the arts for over 45 years and worked closely with the famous Marcel Marceau. A local Westhampton resident, Colucci has made it his personal mission to expose the younger generation to some of the art forms he has spent so many years of his life dedicated to studying.
In addition, Drydock Digital LLC will be donating 3 unique 1:1 NFTs from Steven’s Mime Collection for auction at the Westhampton Beach Project. 100% of the proceeds from the auctioned pieces will be donated to The Musical Mime Company.
