On September 2nd, D’yan Forest, Southampton resident and Guinness World Record title holder for Oldest Working Comedian is back performing in the Hamptons for Labor Day Weekend!
She will be joined by fellow comedian Dan St. Germain (Comedy Central, Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) and host Joe Winchell at the Sticks and Stones Comedy Club at Southampton Cultural Center (25 Pond Lane), and I would love for you to share the news with your readers.
At the ripe young age of 89, D’yan shows no signs of stopping and continues to wow her audience with her not-so-PG standup, complete with her trusty ukulele. Her signature risqué comedy act has cemented her as a notable figure in the world of comedy, landing her on the same stages as Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan and the late Joan Rivers, who referred to her as “the filthy ukulele player”. She regularly performs at Gotham Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club, Le Poisson Rouge, among many more. She even documented her sitcom of a life in her book, I Did It My Ways.
She has been featured on The Drew Barrymore Show, Time Out New York, The Guardian and New York Live, among others.
Located in the heart of the Village of Southampton — inside the professional and elegant theater at the Southampton Cultural Center — Sticks and Stones Comedy Club hosts national headlining comedians and performers throughout the calendar year.
There will be two shows at 7pm and 9pm, and tickets start at $35. Tickets can be purchased here.
