There she was, Dr. Jill Biden, the accomplished wife of our Vice President Joe Biden, just another woman as she nonchalantly sauntered up to the podium to address an eager crowd full of NY power women at the WIE Symposium (Women: Inspiration & Enterprise) held in SOHO a week ago. Taking time out to fly in just for the day (she also did Letterman) to give a heartfelt speech about the importance of education and the devastating drought in East Africa, the VP’s smart and classy wife and military mom looked stunning with her very blond hair, sleek pink dress and dark closed heels. “I can’t imagine not teaching, the students they are my heroes.” Said the Dr., who still everyday teaches English at a Virginia Community College.
“She’s the most passionate defender of Community College ” said the announcer.
Here to create awareness about both topics, I have to say watching Dr. Jill Biden talk was exciting and inspiring.
