The other night was the Oscar Campaign party for the Ryan Gosling Movie Drive which Rolling Stone Magazine just recently named the best movie of 2011; increasingly the hype and buzz around this box office hit. Quoted as saying, “Screw Oscar, which will surely ignore Drive because it’s too bloody, too creative, too ambitious and too polarizing to comfort audiences.”
The Oscar Campaign party at the Andaz hotel in West Hollywood, sponsored by Russian Standard Vodka brought out director Nicolas Winding Refn who puts an iconic Ryan Gosling behind the wheel into a feverish battle between good and its opposite (Albert Brooks does great evil). Pictured with Bai Ling.
