Madonna’s ex hubby, director Guy Ritchie has his Sherlock Holmes sequel opening Friday, December 16. Word on the street is that it’s a bit bigger and better than the astoundingly successful first one, but still lacks that certain something that movie goers adore.
Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his friend and colleague, Dr. John Watson, in ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.’
Downey’s pregnant wife Susan, due to give birth to his second child in February, produces the mysterious action-adventure along with her mega producer boss Joel Silver.
The cast includes Jared Harris, Noomi Rapace, Stephen Fry and Kelly Reilly, along with the amazing Rachel McAdams, who returns too in a brief but noteworthy appearance.
