Tony Di Napoli has been serving up some of the best old school Italian favorites in New York since he opened his first location in 1959. So it’s no surprise that the new Tony Di Napoli’s location just opened at 3rd Ave and 64th Street in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper East Side is already busy, delicious and a very cool spot.
Great service served family style just like Carmines but they do something that legendary Carmines does not. They offer ‘half’ size orders so you can have more of a variety and not be stuck with huge platters.
The House Salad served table-side (nice touch), Shrimp Fra Diavlo, Baked Clams and Chicken Parm was scrumptious. We even went through 3 bread baskets.
The stylish atmosphere is perfect for families, dates, and groups of all sizes and ages.
The bar is small and I wish they made it more of a place to hang out but everything else has me already planning my next visit .
