After meeting on his music video shoot back in 2011 and then announcing their engagement to Rolling Stone last November after dating a year, Weiland 45 years-old and Wachtel 35, tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles, CA over the weekend.
The bride wore a vintage dress and groom a designer suit by John Varvatos.
Each have kids from previous relationships; her a son and he a son and daughter.
Wachtel told People.com; “We had the the most beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. We all cried and laughed. Scott and I are over the moon.”
This marks a very happy time for the former Stone Temple Pilots frontman who has been embroiled in a legal dispute with the band after getting kicked out in February, and being replaced him by Linkin Park star Chester Bennington.
Weiland, who also fronted rock band Velvet Revolver with some of the guys from Guns N Roses, will be performing in August in Philadelphia with his new band the Wildabouts.
