There we were at R Bar on the Bowery in lower Manhattan to see up and coming music star, Notar. There he was with the sunglasses, the rock star face, the stage finesse, and most importantly the voice and the music. The packed and pretty crowd there to celebrate his new ep was electric and waiting patiently. He took the stage like a true star. He commanded and demanded and we landed right onto his every rhyming word. Everyone was there, NY’s chicest; hip models vying for a look at the next hot thing, friends, family, industry, musicians, and even music’s biggest and baddest talent agent Jonny Podell made a cameo to see what all the hoopla was about. Mentor and label boss Adam Duritz of Counting Crows who first caught the eye of the hip-hop MC and soon after signed him, joined him on stage and wowed the crowd to the fullest. He came, we saw, he conquered. Once again, Notar is the real deal. My head is still bouncing. Pictured here are Notar and Adam Duritz surrounded by the band and friends.
