Lifetime and Sony Pictures Television will team up with James Franco to remake the classic TV movie, Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? to air on Lifetime in 2016.
In honor of its 20th anniversary, the retelling of the cult classic will pay homage to the original 1996 thriller which starred Tori Spelling as a teenager whose mother realizes her boyfriend played Ivan Sergei, is a psychopath.
Here’s an unrecognizable Franco with long hair, along with his younger brother Dave filming the upcoming comedy film ‘The Disaster Artist,’ which Franco is also directing.
The cast includes Alison Brie, Josh Hutcherson, Sharon Stone, Zac Efron and Seth Rogen.
