Talk about natural beauties.

Photographer extraordinaire Peter Lindbergh just unveiled the 2017 Pirelli Calendar and chose some of today’s most famous women like Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman and Dame Helen Mirren, and left hair and make-up applications at the door.

Unlike back in 2002 when Lindbergh shot up and coming actress like Amy Smart, Rachel Leigh Cook, Erika Christensen, and James King in full glamour, this time around the A-list actresses are photographed with little or no makeup and completely unretouched.

Also appearing unadorned and gorgeous Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Charlotte Rampling, Julianne Moore, Jessica Chastain, Robin Wright, and Zhang Ziyi.

Said Lindbergh, during the unveiling in Paris; “In this time, women are represented in the media and everywhere as ambassadors of perfection and youth. I thought it was important to remind everyone there’s a different beauty, real and truthful.”

After two decades of superstardom, Jennifer Lopez is still on top, with a hit TV show, a must-see Vegas residency, and a new collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti.

In the December/January issue of Harper’s BAZAAR, JLo, dressed in Balmain with shoes by Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez, travels down memory lane in her closet, opens up on her kids, working with Giuseppe, her daughter, and Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez.

QUOTES

On working with Giuseppe Zanotti for the Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez collection (available in January):

“I have a certain sensibility about the way I dress and design, and I just kind of handed that to him. People really associate me with sparkle and a little bit of street edge and things like that. I wanted to make sure the collection had that, but then some [styles] feel very glam and high-end fashion.”

On her memories associated with fashion:

“If you hear a song from a certain time and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God!,’ it takes you back to that period in your life. I do the same thing with my closet. I walk in and I see a hat or a pair of shoes or a coat, and I go, ‘Wow! I remember I was wearing that the day this happened, or I was walking down the street; or I heard this or my mom said that, or my boyfriend…’ You know what I mean? ‘And I was dating so-and-so…’ . . . I think of the day my kids were born…It was in the middle of a snowstorm, and I wore this big white fur coat. I was huge, and it was the only coat that would fit me.”

On her relationship with Giuseppe Zanotti:

“I first met Giuseppe years ago, and I remember him just being a really sweet spirit. He came to my house. Even back then we talked about doing a collaboration together. We talked about different things, a music video I was about to do, all kinds of stuff. He went through my closet, and we sat in there. We were supposed to just meet and say hello, but he would up staying for hours, and we just talked fashion. He was like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You have those shoes? They only made 10 of those!’ I’ve been a huge fan of his for a long time.”

On her daughter, Emme’s sense of style:

“She loves fashion. She was wearing my shoes as soon as she started walking. She’s actually learning to sew already. Who knows? We may have a little designer on our hands.”
