    Music man Richard Marx and wife of almost a year, TV Host/model Daisy Fuentes took part at Farm Sanctuary’s 30th Anniversary Gala at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel over the weekend.

    Co-chaired by Jon Stewart’s wife Tracey Stewart and Emily Deschanel, comedian and actor Kevin Nealon was host, Marx performed, and presenters included Jon Stewart, Moby, and Daisy Fuentes.

    Honorees included Allene Lapides with the Gift of Life Award, Kat Von D with the Compassion in Action Award, Leona Lewis with the Friends, Not Food Award, and Crossroads Kitchen with the Inspiration Award.

    Also enjoying the animal friendly night which featured a 100% plant-based dinner, and a farmer’s market-style gift station; Craig Ferguson, Jennifer Coolidge, Katie Cleary, Jeff Garlin, and Carol Leifer.

    Celebrating 30 years of rescue, education and advocacy for farm animals, the largest population of abused animals on the planet, Farm Sanctuary, with a 26-acre Los Angeles-area shelter and sanctuaries in Orland, CA and Watkins Glen, NY, works to educate people nationwide about farm animal abuse and the adverse effects of factory farming on our health and environment.

    Jon and Tracey Stewart will also be opening a location at their New Jersey farm in Spring 2017.

The important foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

    Financier and Miami restauranteur Shareef Malnik was the star-studded gala’s Ball Chairman and his gorgeous actress wife Gabrielle Anwar was the evening’s celebrity emcee.

    The Classic Rock Awards ceremony in Tokyo the other night brought out some heavy hitting rock stars.

    The annual ceremony held in Japan for the first time ever awarded Def Leppard, The Struts, Cheap Trick, and Jeff Beck who received The Icon Award.

    Newly divorced Johnny Depp of The Hollywood Vampires and legendary Joe Perry of Aerosmith were among the performers, along with Jeff Beck, Rudolf Schenker, Phil Collen and Joe Elliott, Richie Sambora and Orianthi, Tesla, Cheap Trick, and a house band made up of Rob and Dean DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots, Korn drummer Ray Luzier and Tommy Hendriksen of Hollywood Vampires.

    Prince Harry led the country in remembering the fallen on Armistice Day, laying a wreath at the National Memorial Arboretum.

    The 32-year old Royal, the world’s most eligible bachelor now dating 35-year old Hollywood actress Meghan Markle, attended the remembrance service at the Armed Forces Memorial alongside veterans and representatives of the Army, Royal Navy and RAF.

    Harry, who served for 10 years in the Army and was twice deployed to Afghanistan, was joined by hundreds observing the silence in the chilly afternoon.

    Palm Beach Show Group’s CEO Scott Diament welcomed over 2,000 guests to the New York Art Antique & Jewelry Show at its new location of Pier 94 last week.

    The evening kicked off with a private cocktail party hosted by Sharon Bush that toasted her daughter Lauren Bush Lauren and her FEED Foundation. Diament gave Bush Lauren a check for $10,000 that will provide over 90,000 meals to hungry children.

    Guests included Daiment’ business partner Robert Samuels, British Antique Dealers Association (BADA), and Ellie Cullman and Richard Steinberg who then welcomed designers and dignitaries as they hosted the VIP Preview Party, where guests including Frederick Anderson, Robin Cofer, Audrey Gruss, Virginia Pitman and Jean Shafiroff perused the treasures of more than a billion-dollars’ worth of collectibles from exhibitors from around the world.

    Other art lovers, collectors, and curators included Michael Arguello, Paola Bacchini, Edgar Batista, Elena Beloff, Janna Bullock, Patricia Burnham Brock, William Brock, Liliana Cavendish, Dominick D’Alleva, Max Fishkl, Tristan Govignon, Julia Hayek, Roy Kean, Margo Langenberg, Jason Lyon, Anne-Laure Marchal, Bridgette Morphew, Nicole Noonan, Peter Rosenthal, Amy Rosi, Barbara and Donald Tober, Monica Webster, and Kirat Young.

    The show runs until Sunday November 13, and tickets are just $20 for the public.

    During the reception Queen Elizabeth unveiled a portrait of herself by artist Colin Davidson, an Irish artist who has painted portraits of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Hollywood actors and Northern Ireland leaders.

    Crowned to the British Monarch back in 1952, the event by , celebrated the queen’s 90th birthday, which she celebrated in April.
