The 30th Annual American Cinematheque Awards Gala at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday night had A-list honorees and presenters.
Bradley Cooper presented Sue Kroll, Warner Bros. President of Worldwide Marketing and DistributionThe Sid Grauman Award, while The Martian director SirRidley Scott received The America Cinematheque Award from his star Matt Damon.
Emcee Russell Crowe and Sigourney Weaver also paid tribute to Sir Ridley Scott and used the opportunity to threw in some major jabs towards embattled politician Donald Trump.
Bronx Community College, the only community college in the United States with buildings that earned a National Historic Landmark designation, hosts an Architecture & Arts Festival to introduce the public to the beauty and history of its campus and to showcase local artists from across New York City — including talented members of BCC’s student body.

During this special event, BCC will be an “Open House New York” location as part of the City’s five-borough celebration of architecture and design. In conjunction with Open House New York, the Architecture & Arts Festival will feature:
Tours of the BCC campus, including the Stanford White-designed Gould Memorial Library and the Hall of Fame for Great Americans and buildings by Marcel Breuer
Performances by local arts organizations of dance, music and performance art
Paintings by renowned Bronx artist Daniel Hauben. Hauben’s oils hanging in the BCC library are one of the largest publically commissioned artworks in Bronx history. There will also be visual art from Daniel Del Valle, Dennesa Usher, Jennifer Tomaiolo, Dennis Redmoon Darkeem and Andre Trenier
BCC exhibits will include the student-built car from the Automotive Technology program, screenings of student films from the BCC film festival and a performance by the BCC Student Dance Workshop
Displays from the National Museums of the American Indian, the Historic Districts Council and the Bronx County Historical Society
A “Taste of the Bronx” — samplings of the food and drink that are transforming the borough into a foodie’s paradise
Denise Rich and Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research celebrated the generous support of the foundation through its Angel Ball Launch Party at TAO Downtown.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine accompanied by HRH Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, along with Lifeline New York, hosted the 6th Annual Benefit Luncheon with guests including Consul General of Serbia Mrs Mirjana Zivkovic, Lady Lully Gibbons, Ambassador Nancy Brinker, Kerry Kennedy, Ivana Trump, Kelly Bensimon, Dr. Ruth, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jean Shafiroff, Kamie Lightburn, Dale Noelle, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, Thomas James “Tommy” Tune, and Lucia Hwong-Gordon.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander who passionately commented on the work that Lifeline New York does like supplying emergency aid and medical equipment during a critical and pressing time said; “We can take this opportunity to improve the health and wellness of our future generation.
