Julianne Moore’s Book Coming to Off Broadway
Julianne Moore’s book “Freckleface Strawberry” is coming to Off Broadway in September at the New World Stage. The New York actress turned writer’s book, about a girl whose red hair and freckles may her different, is the inspiration for the musical that is casting right now for the 90 minute show where adults will play kids. We can only imagine how thrilled she is.
GOOD BEN AFFLECK
Ben Affleck is a movie star, oscar winner, husband, and father of two. Soon, he will be called a critically acclaimed director and actor. Ben, who just finished directing his second major motion picture, ‘The Town,’ also stars in it and is said to be amazing . It’s the gripping story of a career thief. His celebrated and engaging directorial debut ‘Gone Baby Gone,’ starred his brother Casey Affleck and Amy Ryan, who under his direction received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress. Now, if all the talk is true and the movie is as good as the trailer looks, it may just be Ben’s turn to receive his accolades for acting and maybe directing. ‘The Town’ also stars Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner and the much talked about hot newcomer and Gossip Girl, Blake Lively. Ben pictured here on the Boston set last year with another co-star Rebecca Hall. The film opens in September.
Boozing It Up On ‘Flipping Out’
Bravo’s favorite real estate investor Jeff Lewis is back to his old shtick in season 4 of ‘Flipping Out,’ which returns Tuesday, August 10th. This time around he’s back with his design business taking center stage after building it up due to the fallen economy. He takes on a bevy of clients and even steps into the restaurant renovation genre by taking on the famed Mexican hot spot ‘Casa Vega’ in Studio City, Ca. Jenny and her quick wit are back as well as Zoila, who hates to clean but who can blame her. A highlight this season is the much needed addition of employee happy hour, where everyone can indulge in cocktails (while they work of course,) served by house assistant Jett. This is hysterical.
Ryan Seacrest Goes Greek
Show Biz workaholic Ryan Seacrest, who just got back from an Italian rendezvous with his hot and new young love interest Julianne Hough, has lunch at delicious Greek restaurant Taverna Tony’s in Malibu, Ca. Could it be that mega- multi-millionaire Ryan was lunching with his business associates and working out a lovely prenup in lieu of his recent trip with what could be a future Mrs. Julianne Seacrest? Thirty five year old Ryan, who was rumored to have had a crush on the soon to be twenty two year old ballroom dancer/singer when she was linked to country bumpkin boyfriend Chuck Wicks, may have to now put up or shut up.

Daughtry’s ‘September’ Hits All the Right Notes
Daughtry’s new tune ‘September,’ the third single off his acclaimed album “Leave This Town” is an infectious ballad that pulls at the heart strings and makes you go back for more and even more. It’s a catchy bittersweet ballad that draws on lead singer Chris Daughtry’s experiences growing up in a small town. The new video just debuted at online music network Vevo and the band performs live on the Today Show Friday, August 20th.

Rumors are swirling that singer and designer Victoria Beckham, and her extremely highly paid soccer playing hubby David are heading towards divorce. Of course, the mom of three little boys says they are more in love than ever and it’s hurtful that her children have to hear these ridiculous stories from the media. I guess time will tell whether the Beckham’s, who survived the first round of infidelity stories on David’s behalf years back before they relocated to the states in ritzy CA, can survive this new round. Former President Bill Clinton guest speaks at the annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), which provides a forum for partners to connect with each other and with Microsoft staff, and to learn about the latest Microsoft programs, strategies and cutting-edge technologies for the coming year. President Clinton, 42nd president of the United States, husband of the Secretary of State and whose daughter is getting married at the end of the month, spoke about “Embracing Our Common Humanity.” All A-List techies were in attendance at the 7th annual 5 -day event which took place in Washington, DC.
