Rumors are floating around that Ryan O’Neal, who has been mourning the loss of his one true love Farrah Fawcett, has found a new lady friend and her name is Cheryl Tiegs. Yes, that Cheryl Tiegs, the one who has been married and divorced four times and graced the cover of almost every major magazine back in the day. Seen here last month, the twosome attended the Boomtown Gala/SHARE event in Santa Monica, CA which raised money for at risk youths, disabled and neglected children. Cheryl’s long-running affiliation with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue featured her on the cover numerous times and in 1978 the poster of her in a pink bikini made it a pop culture iconic image. This sounds vaguely familiar to that 1976 iconic poster that the late Farrah Fawcett made famous modeling back in the seventies. Well, no one can fault Ryan for having good taste.

George Clooney’s gorgeous model/actress Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis will appear in five episodes of the TNT series Leverage, starring 80’s hot shot actor, Timothy Hutton. Hutton, who was the youngest actor to ever win the Academy Award, took it home for his unforgettable role in ‘Ordinary People’ opposite TV icon Mary Tyler Moore. In Leverage, he leads a team of professional thieves, computer experts and con artists who use their skills to right corporate and governmental injustices inflicted on common citizens. According to TNT, season three which started last night, has Timothy contending with a shadowy intelligence agent known only as “The Italian,” played by Elisabetta, who blackmails him into helping bring down a financier. It will be interesting to see if Clooney’s gal, who has appeared in several TV shows, series and films in Italy, can make the transition to American actress. We know she’s gorgeous but does she have the skills, we’ll see.
DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson has put together a new album with The Business Intl, which includes musicians and singers from both sides of the Atlantic, like D’Angelo, Boy George, Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Ghostface, MNDR and more. The new RCA album, entitled Record Collection, was recorded primarily in Brooklyn, drops in September and the new single “Bang Bang Bang” can be heard now. It features Ronson, Q-Tip and MNDR, and is a perfect slice of bouncing synth-hop and makes for a perfect summer jam. Q-tip was part of the critically acclaimed group A Tribe Called Quest, and MNDR is Amanda Warner, startling new electronic pop artist with a lot of buzz. It’s basically a disco beat that takes the French nursery rhyme “Alouette” and turns it into a French, electronic mix of NYC hip- pop which makes for a perfect party anthem. It’s totally cool and new age, and Ronson who splits his time between London and New York, incorporates his love of everything from hip-hop, disco, 80’s pop to French electro and all points in between. For those that don’t know, Mark is the older brother of his following in his footsteps sister, DJ Samantha Ronson, who got famous for dating ex-girlfriend Linday Lohan. Comedian, actor, radio host and author, Steve Harvey Co-hosted his first annual Steve Harvey Foundation Gala, with GMA hot shot Robin Roberts, to support change and education for youths in the community. The gala which raised over one million dollars honored Hollywood royalty Denzel Washington for his dedication to leadership and inspiration and tireless work he has done for children. Looking flaming hot and absolutely gorgeous, Sherri Shepard and Common attended and supported the cause. Also in attendance, Society Diva Audrey Bernard, Music Mogul LA Reid and AOL’s Black Voices scribe Bridget Bland.

Now, every star in Hollywood waits for that magical call or has their agent chase the role down. Look for some big names to be getting the Emmy nod, come July 8th when they are announced. NBC’s funny late, late night host Jimmy Fallon is hosting the awards live from Hollywood Sunday, August 29th.
Once again, The Bridgehampton Polo Club will host the coveted Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge. This summer’s matches promise to be some of the most exciting in the sport of polo. Some of the greatest equestrian athletes will compete for one of polo’s most treasured prizes. Returning as usual will be some of the East End’s most high-profile and influential audience of VIP’s, celebs and media. The season starts on Saturday, July 24th and continues for six consecutive Saturdays, ending August 28th. Matches take place from 4-6pm and general admission tickets ($20. per car) are available on the day of the match. The VIP tent will host an invitation-only cocktail reception for exclusive guests each Saturday afternoon during the tournament. This year’s sponsors include Qualcomm, Ralph Lauren, Vespa, Vita Coco, Crumbs Cupcakes, Financial Times, Susan Foster Jewelry, Borghese Cosmetics, Hamptons Magazine and Pop Chips.
