Some of the coolest women in show business turned out for “An Evening With Women,” the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s 2nd annual fundraiser event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. This year was rock-n roll heavy with the likes of iconic rock sister gods Heart as well as songwriter/producer extraordinairre Linda Perry, who skyrocketed to fame after her hit “What’s Up” with her band 4 Non Blondes. Money raised goes towards the center’s various programs and services including women’s health and medical, legal assistance and domestic violence prevention. The evening’s host was film, television and broadway actress Gina Gershon, who has been acting for over 20 years and in some of the most unforgettable movies to date. Also making special appearances were, comic genius Sarah Silverman who has been schlepping everywhere pushing her new book The Bedwetter and Academy Award winner Renee Zellwegger, better known these days as up and coming movie star Bradley Cooper’s live-in paramour.

Original BFF’s Madonna and Gwyneth were both scene at The 2nd Annual Bent On Yoga Learning Benefit in New York which raised cash to offer yoga in underprivileged inner city schools. What a bonus to have both superstars championing NYC Public Schools. Madonna, looking eternally young arrived with her gorgeous 13 year old daughter Lourdes, a star in the making. Gwyneth, who has been doing the New York City press circuit promoting her upcoming Iron Man 2 blockbuster, looked impeccable in her Victoria Beckham designed dress.

According to TMZ, the academy award winning, bombshell actress is splitting from her gorgeous model boyfriend of five years, Gabriel Aubry. According to reports, they have already met with lawyers and are trying to work out a custody arrangement over daughter Nahla to make sure all are happy. No surprise here. Good luck with that one. Remember Halle, he is the father.

Depreciated hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan and her mom had supposededly taped an interview with Entertainment Tonight that was to air tonight but it never happened.  They were going to attempt to set the record straight on her rumored drug abuse and crazy behavior after dad Michael Lohan suggested she’s been hooked on prescription medication. Looks like Ashton Kutcher is setting a new techie trend in Tinseltown after he recently invested in hot tech start-up Foursquare.  Hot Hollywood actress Regina King, an ardent Twitter user as well,  has decided to start her own social networking organization called B2B or Back To Business, due to her many twitter followers she has accumulated and her passion to motivate and empower women. The ex-wife of record company executive Ian Alexander and mother of 14 year old Ian Alexander Jr., has been rumored to be dating Cosby Show alum Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Regina told Hip Hop Weekly “It actually started on Twitter and I ended up with so many followers that I decided to spread the message to help empower and bridge that gap between women. We have all gone through something and we have all failed before. There needs to be motivation in the community.”  I say,  geeks and nerds rule.
